I believe that our consciousness goes somewhere when we die, I don't know where, and I don't need a church to feel that way, I'm not religious, but I'm what you call an Agnostic Theist, look it up, if our consciousness doesn't go anywhere when we die, then what's the point, I find it hard to believe that we are a freak accident of nature on the planet earth that revolves around the sun, which revolves around a supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy, which is accelerating still, towards the edge of universe and out from the mysterious center of the universe. Past the edge of the universe there is chaos, and right before it there are objects they say that are made of 11 dimensional matter, we are 3 dimensional, I am convinced that time is the fourth dimension and we can't perceive it cause we are only 3d, we know it's there and we all experience time differently, therefore it must be the fourth dimension, and I heard something clever that I'll get to in a minute. I believe that there are these beings of pan-dimensional matter, I don't know how many dimensions, maybe 4 maybe 11, I don't know. If they exist, they are the gods, or god. And if they exist, why do they not reveal themselves, this is why: Have you ever tried to explain yourself to a cockroach???? No, you haven't. And why not?? Because the cockroach wouldn't understand, it's like that with these beings, they are so much more advanced than us they can't reveal or explain themselves because even though they may not be evil, to them we are cockroaches and we can't understand in this lifetime...

The new military commissions act now allows our fucking government to do some serious shit. Those of you who have seen V for Vendetta, well, guess what...Creedy and his black bags are now legal in the USA (United Suppression of Americans). I'm really freaked out by this, something has to be done, and if you have any decency whatsoever, you will read every inch of what's on this page because this is the most serious thing anyone has ever posted, I am not fucking joking, this is sick and fucking scary and it's that simple, the whole bill is 38 pages, here are the three that I found scariest and here is the link to the Military Commissions Act. may not be construed to alter or limit the authority of the President
under the Constitution of the United States and laws of the United
States to establish military commissions for areas declared to be
under martial law or in occupied territories should circumstances
so require.
‘‘§ 948b. Military commissions generally
‘‘(a) PURPOSE.—This chapter establishes procedures governing
the use of military commissions to try alien unlawful enemy combatants
engaged in hostilities against the United States for violations
of the law of war and other offenses triable by military commission.
‘‘(b) AUTHORITY FOR MILITARY COMMISSIONS UNDER THIS
CHAPTER.—The President is authorized to establish military
commissions under this chapter for offenses triable by military
commission as provided in this chapter.

‘‘§ 948c. Persons subject to military commissions
‘‘Any alien unlawful enemy combatant is subject to trial by
military commission under this chapter.

‘‘§ 948a. Definitions
‘‘In this chapter:
‘‘(1) UNLAWFUL ENEMY COMBATANT.—(A) The term ‘unlawful
enemy combatant’ means—
‘‘(i) a person who has engaged in hostilities or who
has purposefully and materially supported hostilities
against the United States or its co-belligerents who is
not a lawful enemy combatant (including a person who
is part of the Taliban, al Qaeda, or associated forces);
or
‘‘(ii) a person who, before, on, or after the date of
the enactment of the Military Commissions Act of 2006,
has been determined to be an unlawful enemy combatant
by a Combatant Status Review Tribunal or another competent
tribunal established under the authority of the
President or the Secretary of Defense.
‘‘(B) CO-BELLIGERENT.—In this paragraph, the term ‘cobelligerent’,
with respect to the United States, means any State
or armed force joining and directly engaged with the United
States in hostilities or directly supporting hostilities against
a common enemy.

SEC. 5. TREATY OBLIGATIONS NOT ESTABLISHING GROUNDS FOR CERTAIN
CLAIMS.
(a) IN GENERAL.—No person may invoke the Geneva Conventions
or any protocols thereto in any habeas corpus or other civil
action or proceeding to which the United States, or a current
or former officer, employee, member of the Armed Forces, or other
agent of the United States is a party as a source of rights in
any court of the United States or its States or territories.

SEC. 6. IMPLEMENTATION OF TREATY OBLIGATIONS
(3) INTERPRETATION BY THE PRESIDENT.—
(A) As provided by the Constitution and by this section,
the President has the authority for the United States to
interpret the meaning and application of the Geneva
Conventions and to promulgate higher standards and
administrative regulations for violations of treaty obligations
which are not grave breaches of the Geneva Conventions.
(B) The President shall issue interpretations described
by subparagraph (A) by Executive Order published in the
Federal Register.
(C) Any Executive Order published under this paragraph
shall be authoritative (except as to grave breaches
of common Article 3) as a matter of United States law,
in the same manner as other administrative regulations.
(D) Nothing in this section shall be construed to affect
the constitutional functions and responsibilities of Congress
and the judicial branch of the United States.

SEC. 7. HABEAS CORPUS MATTERS.
‘‘(e)(1) No court, justice, or judge shall have jurisdiction to
hear or consider an application for a writ of habeas corpus filed
by or on behalf of an alien detained by the United States who
has been determined by the United States to have been properly
detained as an enemy combatant or is awaiting such determination.
‘‘(2) Except as provided in paragraphs (2) and (3) of section
1005(e) of the Detainee Treatment Act of 2005 (10 U.S.C. 801
note), no court, justice, or judge shall have jurisdiction to hear
or consider any other action against the United States or its agents
relating to any aspect of the detention, transfer, treatment, trial,
or conditions of confinement of an alien who is or was detained
by the United States and has been determined by the United
States to have been properly detained as an enemy combatant
or is awaiting such determination.’’.

‘‘SUBCHAPTER VI—POST-TRIAL PROCEDURE AND REVIEW
OF MILITARY COMMISSIONS
‘‘§ 950i. Execution of sentence; procedures for execution of
sentence of death
‘‘(a) IN GENERAL.—The Secretary of Defense is authorized to
carry out a sentence imposed by a military commission under this
chapter in accordance with such procedures as the Secretary may
prescribe.
‘‘(b) EXECUTION OF SENTENCE OF DEATH ONLY UPON APPROVAL
BY THE PRESIDENT.—If the sentence of a military commission under
this chapter extends to death, that part of the sentence providing

Updated Iraq Survey Affirms Earlier Mortality Estimates

As many as 654,965 more Iraqis may have died since hostilities began in Iraq in March 2003 than would have been expected under pre-war conditions, according to a survey conducted by researchers at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Al Mustansiriya University in Baghdad. The deaths from all causes--violent and non-violent--are over and above the estimated 143,000 deaths per year that occurred from all causes prior to the March 2003 invasion.

The estimates were derived from a nationwide household survey of 1,849 households throughout Iraq conducted between May and July 2006. The results are consistent with the findings of an October 2004 study of Iraq mortality conducted by the Hopkins researchers. Also, the findings closely reflect the increased mortality trends reported by other organizations that utilized passive methods of counting mortality, such as counting bodies in morgues or deaths reported by the news media. The study is published in the October 12, 2006, online edition of the peer-reviewed scientific journal, The Lancet.

"As we found with our previous survey, the majority of deaths in Iraq are due to violence--although we also saw a small increase in deaths from non-violent causes, such as heart disease, cancer and chronic illness. Gunshots were the primary cause of violent deaths. To put these numbers in context, deaths are occurring in Iraq now at a rate more than three times that from before the invasion of March 2003," said Gilbert Burnham, MD, PhD, lead author of the study and co-director of the Bloomberg School's Center for Refugee and Disaster Response. "Our total estimate is much higher than other mortality estimates because we used a population-based, active method for collecting mortality information rather than passive methods that depend on counting bodies or tabulated media reports of violent deaths. Though the numbers differ, the trend in increasing numbers of deaths closely follows that measured by the U.S. Defense Department and the Iraq Body Count group."

Key points of the study include:

* Estimated 654,965 additional deaths in Iraq between March 2003 and July 2006
* Majority of the additional deaths (91.8 percent) caused by violence
* Males aged 15-44 years accounted for 59 percent of post-invasion violent deaths
* About half of the households surveyed were uncertain who was responsible for the death of a household member
* The proportion of deaths attributed to coalition forces diminished in 2006 to 26 percent. Between March 2003 and July 2006, households attributed 31 percent of deaths to the coalition
* Mortality data from the 2006 study reaffirms 2004 estimates by Hopkins researchers and mirrors upward trends measured by other organizations
* Researchers recommend establishment of an international body to calculate mortality and monitor health of people living in all regions affected by conflict

The mortality survey used well-established and scientifically proven methods for measuring mortality and disease in populations. These same survey methods were used to measure mortality during conflicts in the Congo, Kosovo, Sudan and other regions. For the Iraq study, data were collected from 47 randomly selected clusters of 40 households each. At each household selected, trained Iraqi surveyors collected data on the number of births and deaths that occurred in the household between January 1, 2002, and June 30, 2006. To be considered a household member, the deceased had to have lived in the home at least three months prior to death. When interviewers asked to see a death certificate at households reporting a death, it was presented in 92 percent of instances. The survey recorded 1,474 births and 629 deaths among 12,801 people surveyed. The data were then applied to the 26.1 million Iraqis living in the survey area.

While the survey collected information on the manner of death, the study did not examine the circumstances of the death, such as whether the deceased was actively involved in armed combat, terrorism, criminal activity or caught in the middle of the conflict. The study outlines other limitations of the survey method, including the hazards of collecting data during a conflict.

The results from the new study closely match the finding of the group's October 2004 mortality survey. The earlier study, also published in The Lancet, estimated over 100,000 additional deaths from all causes had occurred in Iraq from March 2003 to August 2004. When data from the new study were examined, it estimated 112,000 deaths for the same time period of the 2004 study. The new survey also found that the number of deaths attributed to coalition forces had declined in 2006, though overall households attributed 31 percent of deaths to the coalition. Responsibility could not be attributed in 45 percent of the violent deaths.

According to the researchers, the overall rate of mortality in Iraq since March 2003 is 13.3 deaths per 1,000 persons per year compared to 5.5 deaths per 1,000 persons per year prior to March 2003. This amounts to about 2.5 percent of Iraqi's population having died as a consequence of the war. To put the 654,000 deaths in context with other conflicts, the authors note that during the Vietnam War an estimated 3 million civilians died overall; the Congo conflict was responsible for 3.8 million deaths; and recent estimates are that 200,000 have died in Darfur over the past 31 months.

But here's some good information about the relations of intense hurricanes and current trends to or not to global warming. The conclusion that they come to here is interesting, "We conclude that global data indicate a 30-year trend toward more frequent intense tropical cyclones. This trend is not inconsistent with recent climate model simulations that a doubling of CO2 may increase the frequency of the most intense cyclones, although attribution of the 30-year trends to global warming would require a longer global data record and, especially a deeper understanding of the role of hurricanes in the general circulation of the atmosphere and ocean, even in the present climate state." For those of you that don't want to read the whole page, here is the other important part "When taken as a whole, the pattern appears to be better characterized as being dominated by active and inactive periods that oscillate through time, rather than being one that indicates a temporal trend. This characterization is one that does not fit so well with the concept that hurricanes are becoming more intense because of increases in atmospheric CO2." There is still not enough proof here, "While the impacts of the currently active hurricane period are being felt especially hard in the United States, there remains no scientific proof that human contributions to an enhanced greenhouse effect are the root cause."

The political implications in this movie are absolutely phenomenal, I was in shock and awe by how much this movie could scare me if this were to happen in real life, and with the new federal ID's in 2008, we're well on our way to full government, or I should say dictatorial control. The movie reminded me of what Brazil would have been with a different ending. We gotta do something about this country before we amass the level of government that the world of Brazil and V for Vendetta has fallen prey to. See this fucking movie, asap...

I have noticed, as I'm sure many of you have, that the world seems to be rearing up to voice extreme discontent at the environmental disregard we greasy monkeys seem to have. I don't know about any of you, but the rash of severe "natural" disasters over the past months seem to me a clear, pissed-right-off warning from whatever cosmic or natural force it is that keeps this earth spinning: "QUIT FUCKING WITH MY SHIT!"

It shouldn't surprise me that the automotive and petroleum industries have felt a bit of a squeeze, and have tried to pawn themselves off as "emission-reduced"or "enviro-(blank)", but the enormous push in television and print media has me a bit aghast. Not to mention that President Bush virtually flat denies the reality of global warming (as with most other realities) which doesn't exactly sell the dire situation the world is in to his leagues of gas-guzzling, aerosol spraying, cigarette-puffing followers. No, according to the Church of Dubya we are entitled to wrest from the loins of this earth whatever offspring might cozy up our existence. Never mind anybody else who might have to survive amongst the table scraps of our excesses. They'll figure it out. There's always been enough gas to go around. They'll be fine.

Folks, the world is screaming at us, and systematically killing us off. I say, rightly so. It has survived for thousands, no, millions of years. Ice ages. What makes anybody think that our unique brand of slash and burn has been going unnoticed, or that the world would support that behaviour long? What really pisses me off is that while I don't own a car, take rides from others as infrequently as possible, walk or take a trolley bus everywhere, DO NOT USE AEROSOL, do not buy products that I can't recycle, my line of decendants and myself will live to suffer punishments intended largely for others. Pricks.

Remember "Waterworld"? Kevin Costner? Webbed feet? Sure it's a movie, but how far off the truth do you think that environ was? How long do you think it took people to learn how to "recycle" their own urine? How many mouthfuls of warm piss do you think it took to get it right? The idea of reducing those who remain on the earth to that sort of level nauseates me. It's all too feasible.

Who has kept count of deaths from overly severe natural disasters? Hurricaine season in the south is well known, as are tsunami and earthquake seasons in Asia, yet every instance of these this year have been unprecedented. Bolts rattling, careening out of control - how bad can it get? Well, consider this: the level it's at has never been seen before. At this point, I don't think we even have a proper scale for "bad".

I found an interesting article on the Nigerian 419 Fraud scams, if you aren't familiar with these read the article anyway, it's an interview with a guy from Nigeria that used to participate in these scams, it's pretty f[CBDG]d up how complicated, yet simple these scams are, the article gets especially interesting toward the end of the last page when they start talking about the people stationed here in the US that get paid to threaten and watch the people that are the "victims" of these scams.

Wow i havent talked to you in forever! Im sure you have been pretty busy at work. I have been really busy here too. I think the last time io talked to you i was on my bullshit mission to un-fuck another company :) Yeah im still here :) I get to finally go back to Al Asad in 5 days though. Itll be nice to see all my friends. Plus its not as hostile over there. Just the other day a few morter rounds were shot over the gates and hit a church. Unfortunetley it did kill some people(--I think this might be what she's talking about--XexyzChronos). Its always a sad day when a comrade falls. Im getting used to all the bomb sirens.

Eventhough im constantly stressed and on my tippy toes i have finally found a way to wind down and de-stress (i made a new word :) Some friends and i found a ladder that leads up to a really high roof and if you go up there at night the stars are absolutley beautiful. Theres barely any lights around here so the stars stand out perfectly! Plus theres a landing strip near us and when the planes fly over to land they fly right above and and its pretty bad ass to be that close. Ive taken some really neat pictures of me and all the stuff around with my digital camera so once i get back to Al Asad im going to download it onto the computer and you can post them on your website if you want.

I will be posting as often as I receive word from my Cousin Lisa who was just stationed in Iraq last week, she, among a few others will be emailing me stories of what's going on out there, in the eyes of someone whose actually there, if anybody else knows anybody out there and think they would be interested in contributing some stories, good and bad, let me know because I would like this to be a collaborative project. So far, this is the beginning of Lisa's tour, and this is all I know as of yet.

If you haven't read the book(read the illustrated special edition, the extra cost is worth it, you need the illustrated version), I'll try not to ruin it for you, even though it's fiction, all of the evidence of what the book is about is real, it's true, it's right, and the hypocrisy of the "Christian" culture will someday be revealed even more so than this book so eloquently has shown me. One of the important things that has truly been left out of the bible is the sacred feminine, a woman's body should be celebrated. Unfortunately, it would ruin the profitable and fear instilling business of christianity. It will expose the hypocrisy of the most hypocritical religion on the planet(President Bush is no stranger to this, in fact, he's one of the best examples) by pointing out the true nature of Jesus Christ, who I do believe existed, and do believe had a girlfriend or wife, probably just a girlfriend, that I'm sure he had sexual relations with. And also the true nature of baphomet, the pentagram, the blade and chalice, and all of the other so called "Satanic" symbols that to me are not representations of "Satan", and have never been. All the church has done over the many years is DEMONIZE woman, the sacred feminine, the one thing that bore us all, even man. And even before reading this book, this was something I intensely disagreed with, always have, and always will. I think the sacred feminine is extremely important I may have my problems with them, but in my opinion, beyond any other race or animal, woman has been demonized and oppressed more than anything on this planet. Without women, there would be countless Saddam Hussein's and George W. Bush's running around(as if we don't have enough already) and it makes me so angry because it's so selfish and so evil. Being an agnostic, I know the difference between right and wrong better than any devout "claimed" Christian ever has. Now my thoughts on that religion have been reassured, my stance neigh changes, it is now even more fortified than it was before, now I feel that I hold more knowledge of the Christian religion than most "christians", not because I am infallible, but because I have an open mind about it. I'm just thankful that I am not blinded by faith and I'm sure many won't read this book because of the "controversial nature of symbology(pentagrams, baphomet, chalice, blah blah blah) and the sacred feminine. Anyone who is willing to base their faith off of a group of filthy lies and demonization, is more evil to me than fessing up to the truth, accepting it and apologizing, suck it up guys, the time of the woman is coming, and it's coming soon, I'm counting on it, right along with the "apocalypse"...

If you post comments about this, please don't feel the need to mention exaggerated facts from the book, I've done my research, it's the message of the book that's important, underwhelming ending(saw the point he was getting to long before he got to it), but how he got there was beautiful.
